    A Check your Jawz traps every couple days to avoid a dead animal smell and/or maggots.

    A Yes, the Jawz trap is a great indoor and outdoor trap.
    A Can I bait the trap with cheese?
    A You can bait the traps with peanut butter, lures, cheese, or a variety of other baits. If one bait is not working switch it out for a new one. If a rat or mouse has had a bad experience with a particular bait they can become bait shy towards that particular bait, so you may need to try different baits until you trap the rat or mouse.

    A The Jawz traps are great for outdoors and will hold up better than a wooden trap in the elements. The Jawz traps are easy to set and release, and do so by just pushing down on pack of trap until it locks into place. The Jawz traps are great for reuse.

    A How many Jawz traps depends on the problem. If you just have a lone mouse that has gotten in, then 1 to 2 traps should be fine, but if you are dealing with an infestation, then making sure you have good coverage with multiple Jawz traps is best.

    A The best way to place the Jawz traps is at a 90 degree angle with the wall or joists in attics.

    A A great bait for the Jawz mouse and Jawz rat traps is good ol' peanut butter.  If you have a rodent that won't go for the peanut butter or you just want an easy to apply bait, try the JF Oaks Pro-Pest lure.

    A Yes, the Jawz mouse traps work great on mice, if you have a large mouse or rat the Jawz rat trap would be a better option.
