Product Alternatives: Alpine Cockroach Gel Bait Rotation 2, Advion Cockroach Gel Bait
EPA Reg. No. 499-507
Active Ingredients: Dinotefuran – 0.5%
Application Rates:
Spot Treatments: For light infestations of cockroaches, 10 bait points are recommended per 100 sq. ft. of treatment area. For heavy infestations of cockroaches, 20 bait points are recommended per 100 sq. ft. of treatment areas. Each bait point should equal about 0.25 to 0.50 grams of product. A spot approximately 3 mm or 1/8 inch in diameter equals 0.25 grams of product, while a spot approximately 6 mm or 1/4 inch in diameter equals 0.50 grams of product.
Numerous small application spots are preferable to fewer larger application spots. Bait may be placed on top of or prior to non-repellent insecticide applications.
Crack and Crevice Treatment: Alpine Cockroach Gel Bait can be applied as spots or as a line along cracks and crevices. Gel bait should be applied directly into cracks and crevices where insects hide. Place the applicator tip directly into cracks and crevices and deposit gel in small spots or in a continuous bead.
Use Directions:
- Remove the cap from the nozzle, touch the top to the surface to be treated and push down the plunger. Apply bait as spots in cracks and crevices. Recap the dispenser after treatment is completed.
- Store in a cool, dry place.
- Do not apply gel to areas that have been recently sprayed with a repellent insecticide, and do not spray insecticide over gel, as this may cause the bait to become repellant.
- Replace bait before it is completely consumed to keep cockroaches from returning.
Get rid of roaches! When a single gel bait product is used exclusively for roach control, research shows that cockroach strains can demonstrate feeding aversions. BASF developed Alpine cockroach gel bait rotation 1 reservoir and Alpine cockroach gel bait rotation 2 reservoir to help prevent bait aversion from developing. This fast-acting duo, a part of the Complete Cockroach Solution, provides baits that are attractive to both gel-bait-averse and non-gel-bait-averse cockroaches.
